Role and Responsibility
- Provide high-quality evidence-based clinical assessment and treatment to clients and their communities
- Provide specialist psychological interventions and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Work with people from various backgrounds and cultures establishing collaborative and therapeutic relationships
- Assess, diagnose, consult, evaluate, and provide treatment planning for complex presentations. This will also include the provision of evidence-based program design and implementation to improve community well-being.
- Appropriate travel to and from individuals and or community sites
- Keep appropriate, up-to-date, and accurate clinical records.
- Assess complex cases to determine treatment planning.
- Ensure the process of transfer and/or discharge of care is undertaken in a timely and effective manner, including written/verbal communication to all relevant parties and the completion of statistical and outcome measures.
- Implement, monitor, and review treatment plans.
- Valid Driving license and use of personal vehicle
Desirable
- Must do Behaviour Support as well.
- Willing to do compliance check.
- Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant role
- Ensure all practice meets professional, organizational, legal, and ethical requirements.
- Excellent level of professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in a remote community and establishing therapeutic relationships with individuals and the community.
- Experience working with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures.
- Submitting and writing valid progress notes on time.
